View Boston, the city’s three-story observation deck at the top of the Prudential Tower, announced its “Summer of Celebration” in honor of its first anniversary.

The celebration includes a variety of events hosted at View Boston throughout the summer and a lifetime pass giveaway. Twelve lucky winners will receive unlimited access to this iconic Boston attraction.

Tourists aren’t the only ones enjoying View Boston. According to a recent press release, View Boston “has seen a 45% local engagement rate, showcasing its appeal to Bostonians while also attracting a diverse visitor base from domestic hotspots and international locales.”

That’s because View Boston isn’t just an observation deck.

The first top on the journey through View Boston is windows overlooking the city, giving you a breathtaking view of the skyline and, on a clear day, mountains off in the distance. Then, visit Explore Boston, an interactive tool that will help you get to know Boston’s neighborhoods, history, and landmarks.

In Open Doors, you can have a deeper, immersive experience of Boston’s neighborhoods and seasons, while Boston 365 shows a bird's-eye view of the city as it changes through the four seasons.

At the end of the experience, visit the printing station for a personalized itinerary outlining everything you want to explore more in Boston.

On the next floor, you’ll find an open-air observation deck and bar, Stratus, which serves cool cocktails and delicious bar bites (weather permitting).

Finally, the very top floor of The Prudential is home to The Beacon, View Boston’s restaurant featuring classic New England dishes like Lobster Rolls and Lobster Ravioli.
